MORE THAN JUST AN AIR PURIFIER
While “passive” air purifiers filter pollutants through air circulation, our system is an “active” system and works differently by using an advanced form of photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology (originally used by NASA to provide safe air for astronauts aboard the International Space Station). Our Puraclenz powered active system produces an unprecedented volume of positive and negative ions for a PCO device, resulting in greater cleaning coverage in a typical indoor setting, thereby deactivating pathogens not only in the air around us but also that manual cleaning may have missed. PCO is a process similar to the one that occurs naturally when UV rays in sunlight react with air molecules in the atmosphere after a lightning strike.
This increased volume of (already present) ions** deactivates contaminants in midair. The Puraclenz technology was designed to deactivate pathogens before they reach other people in the room or settle on surfaces, or reach a traditional air purifier that utilizes filters. A single unit will clean the air and surfaces in a space up to 3,000 sq. ft, 24/7, with no training and minimal maintenance***.
POWERFUL
The underlying photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology (now advanced by Puraclenz) has been used successfully by doctors, dentists, nursery schools, fitness centers and millions of consumers around the world.
Traditional PCO technology has one negative aspect: it often utilizes ozone to increase its power to kill pathogens. Ozone is not a healthy addition to any indoor space, which is why the FDA limits ozone-producing products to .05ppm. Puraclenz has advanced and achieved patent protection for its new design because they found a way to generate powerful levels of ions without generating any ozone.
Using air as a medium to deliver ions allows the system to clean every exposed surface the air reaches, including hard to reach areas where contaminants may be found.
A single P3000 unit will purify multiples of rooms and spaces of up to 3,000 square feet. With multiple units, the coverage area is virtually limitless.
EFFECTIVE AGAINST VIRUSES
The technology used by Puraclenz has been proven to destroy the very difficult to kill MS2 Bacteriophage virus that is classified as a surrogate to SARS-CoV-2, the actual SARS-CoV-2 virus on surfaces, as well as all enveloped viruses such as H1N1 and H5N1, the viruses that cause influenza. According to EPA and CDC guidelines, Puraclenz technology is considered effective at neutralizing/killing SARS-CoV-2 and any of its mutated variants in the air and on surfaces. This includes other viruses that MS2 Bacteriophage is a surrogate (proxy) for such as influenza and the common cold.

Unlike earlier generations of PCO purifiers, the Puraclenz system does not create ozone of any kind.
